Nik nak’s Daily Teaser — 14th September, 2019.

14th September, 2019

Yes: on a day where the Daily Teaser features the work of the late Pérez Prado?

I’ve got the theme tune to Tiswas* going through my head!

It always amazes me what my brain comes up with, sometimes!

At any rate, the elephant in the room?

The Times?   Is serialising David Cameron’s autobiography, For The Record.

And?

The former Prime Minister has admitted he’d not be ruling out a second referendum.

Frankly?

Knowing the man who got the UK into the Brexit mess doesn’t regret it … is ambiguous …

But knowing he wants a second referendum?

Gives him a few brownie points: at least in my view.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Badwolf†, Olga‡, and Debbi^ putting in their answers: with all three scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) 14th September, 1943, saw the birth of the late Ed King.   Between 1972 and 1975, he played both bass, and guitar, for whom: Little Feat, Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Allman Brothers?

Q4) The Luna 2 probe became the first man-made object to (crash) land on the Moon: on 14th September, 1959.   Which country launched it?
Q5) Finally … ?   14th September, 2015, saw scientists made the first observations of what: a black hole, gravitational waves, or the universe’s background radiation?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …
“Religious tolerance is something we should all practice; however, there have been more persecution and atrocities committed in the name of religion and religious freedom than anything else.”
Walter Koenig, born September 14, 1936.
And a song …

Famously, the tune for used in this ad …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        The identity of the Phantom Flan Flinger is still a mystery.

†        Let me know how it goes, Anne: I’ve seen the first, and wouldn’t mind seeing the second.

‡        I can remember, Olga.   I always wonder why these things turn out that way.   At any rate … ?   The meeting went well enough.   In theory, I shouldn’t be having them: they’ll stop when I start getting paid … (That book sounds rather good … )

^        Yeah, thought that might grab you, Debbi!   Oh, JUST got to the big reveal — one of them — in The Cooler.   That’s a rather interesting read …

Yes, the book is highly entertaining and clever. I hope the translation captures that, but I'll keep you posted. Good about the visit to the Job Centre. Hopefully not long to go.
