You know, I totally forgot about that.

You’ll possibly know that the UK government’s paid for a four hundred pound payment to all UK house holds: I’m getting them as a series of vouchers, over the next few months.

What I forgot?

Was that my energy suppliers also offered me an electric blanket.

Well … I say blanket: they called it an electric throw.

Quite what the difference is supposed to be, I don’t know.

Mine turned up, last night.

Granted: it’s a cheap, Chinese made thing.

That doesn’t exactly warm up quickly.
