12th October, 2023.
Right … I owe Trevor an official ‘Thank You’: as he’s helped out, by putting some cash in my tip jar.
Thanking you, Trevor!
The repairmen turn up on Monday afternoon.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
The day also saw Trevor§ leaving us a message: and a very welcome donation.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“I’m not a politician, I’m a musician. I care about giving people a place where they can go to enjoy themselves and to begin to live again.”Lucianno Pavarotti, 12 October 1935 – 6 September 2007.
And an aria …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum!
† Trevor can be surprising, sometimes, Olga! At any rate, the repairmen — from the firm I bought the machine from — arrive on Monday. I might just have to add them to the side bar!
I think the amount of laundrettes really does depend. I think the few, here, have closed: as washing machine prices have come down. Hmmm …
‡ I’ll see what I can do, Debbi! At any rate … ? Good luck with the film!
The BBC’s also announced Class, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures will also be released. (Class was a bit like The Fades: both deserved more of a chance than they got!).
¶ Cheers, Trevor! I’ve got the repair booked for Monday.

Yesterday afternoon I spent the remains of this month’s winnings on a special Tee shirt.
It is a Tee shirt celebrating the 60th anniversary of a certain TV show.

Here I suspect one of the issues with Laundrettes is lack of space, as some people might live in rooms rather than full apartments, and even in small apartments there isn't a lot of space to put the washing machine and to dry up clothes (thought the weather is good for drying, even in winter, most of the time).
I hope the repair is not important, but at least it won't be long now.
I know the one you mean, Trevor: I suspect the reviews are going to be a lot of work.
(There’s a few of them on my YouTube channel.)
You carry more weight with the BBC than I do. I assume they run on your taxes. :) Or am I assuming wrongly.
