Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 22nd October 2023.

22nd October, 2023.

Right … it’s Sunday …

Which means I’d normally be having an early night: so I can get up early, tomorrow, for my weight management course.

But?   Tomorrow’s has been cancelled: staff shortages, unfortunately.

Heigh-ho: it means I can have a late night.

~≈¥≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

The day also saw Trevor§ leaving us a message.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Here’s a thought …
“Tragedy is easier, in a way; if they don’t do anything, you can convince yourself they’re profoundly moved, and that’s why.   Possibly they’re just asleep.”
Sir Derek Jacobi. born 22 October 1938.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        It’s been quiet, so far, Olga: thankfully, or otherwise.   At any rate … ?   I hope your Sunday goes better than my Saturday: I think my Get-Up-And-Go, got up and went!
Oh, did you catch the Tweet/post about the upcoming ten-question sets?

        Hello, Mum!

Cheers for that, Debbi!   At ANY rate … did you get the Tweet/post about the next batch of ten question sets?   The double — on 23rd and 24th November — are going to be a particular strain, I know: but I have tried to keep the answers short!

§        Cheers, Trevor … !

Q1) Kyoto

Q2) Princeton

Q3) China

Q4) Lance Armstrong

Q5) physicist. He was a psychologist as well, it seems.
My Saturday wasn't too bad, although, of course, the times at which things were happening seemed to be for orientation only, so I spent a lot of time going up and down until things got going, but the shops were nice, and although windy and cooler, the weather was sunny. I also left the equipment with the boss, who was manning the radio stall at another event close to my place, as I won't be able to go to do the edit on Tuesday because I have to go to the dentist.
Sorry about tomorrow's meeting, although, as you say, there's a silver lining.
