Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 10-6-2023 — Judy

10th June, 2023: Judy

Right … it’s official.

I’m heading into town, later.

The new medication has turned up at my chemists, so I’m going to head up there, and pick it up.

I think I’m going to wear long sleeves.

My town’s going to be sunny …

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

“I’ve never looked through a keyhole without finding someone was looking back.”
Judy Garland.

And some music …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        I’m keeping my fingers crossed, Olga.   From the few figures I could find — and follow! — the chances of thyroid cancer seem low.   And, while the stuff isn’t specifically been licensed for weight loss use, it has some effect, I’m told.   About my only worry, is whether they’d fit in my sharps bin: it’s only built for the detachable needles on Ozempic pens.

        Hello, Mum!

Go right on ahead, Debbi!   (Oh … Bonnie Langford’s — Mel, the Sixth Doctor’s companion — been spotted on the set of Dr Who.   Apparently, she’s reprising her role, for season 14.)

Yes. If it was a serious (or rather, frequent) side-effect they would have banned the medication, but I am sure your doctor will monitor for any such things.
I'm off to cover the anniversary celebrations for a community adult education project. It's sunny here as well. I will wear my hat, as it is the worst time of the day to be out (and they have also organised a meal, so might try and get some pictures of that).
