Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 22nd June, 2023.

22nd June, 2023.

Yes: it’s officially Thursday, and the day before Friday.

Payday, in other words.

I’m looking forward to that: paying the bills, and stocking up the fridge, would be nice.

I may just be able to Afford a haircut, as well!

On other fronts?

I’m applying for extra benefits.

I don’t know if I’ll end up with anything, but can try.

At any rate?

The paperwork I’ve sent in has been accepted.

And I’ve got an assessment — by phone — in July.

Here’s hoping something comes of it!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …

“In the actual duration of his life, the individual ranges from the bacterium’s hour to the the big tree’s five thousand years.”
Julian Huxley, 22 June 1887 – 14 February 1975.

And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        I hope so, Olga¶!   At any rate, I’ve also managed to sort out an assessment by phone.   Which is a relief.   They’d originally planned it for Southend, which is quite a trip.
Politics is complicated, wherever you go!   (Did I mention I caught the first series of The Thick of It?)

        Hello, Mum!

        Glad to hear it, Debbi¶!

¶        Debbi, Olga, did I mention I’m binge-watching an old BBC 3 series called Mongrels?   It’s hysterical … !
