2nd June, 2023.
Right … it’s Friday: and … ?
Well I’ve had the Ozempic, already.
I’ve enough for two more weeks … so will probably need to look at what’s happening!
At any rate … ?
It’s a Friday: an overcast Friday that’s supposed to be getting sunny, later.
We’ll see.
~≈¥≈~
You know, if you’re in the UK, you’ve possibly have seen the news.
The story about Phillip Schofield leaving the This Morning show, after revealing he’d had an affair at work.
He was definitely out of sorts in the interview he did for the BBC.
He has — as he famously said! — has done something unwise: but not illegal.
I’ll be honest: I think he’s getting maybe a bit too much press coverage.
After all, he’s done nothing worse than Bill Clinton, John Major or David Mellor.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga†, and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Saint Elmo’s fire affects what: sailing ships, cars or lorries?Q3) Elizabeth 2nd was crowned on 2nd June, 1953. It was the first British coronation to be what: televised, shown in cinemas or reported in the London Gazette?Q4) 2nd June, 1955, saw the birth of Micheal Steele. And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum!
† I know Stephen Fry plays, as well, Olga: as does Victoria Coren Mitchell. There’s a hysterical clip from QI liking around on Youtube about it, as well.
Yeah: co-ordination seems to be the thing with strikes. We’ve still got some rail strikes going on, at the mo: with different sections of the industry — drivers from one union, signallers from another — going on strike on different days. I’m glad I’m not having to commute: that would surely make life difficult!
Oh, I knew that: I’m also aware there’s an argument for calling the Dollar Trilogy, Paella Westerns!
‡ I know that much, Debbi. You’ve heard of Stan Ridgway, have’t you? From Wall of Voodoo? He’s a HUGE fan of Ennio Morricone!

I hope the day goes well. I know what you mean about Phillip Schofield. I guess people take more issue with certain celebrities or TV personalities who've always had quite a "clean" image, and he did a lot of work in children's programmes, as well. I remember, years back, when Julie Andrews showed her breasts in a movie, it was a big scandal, probably because people always thought of her as Maria or Mary Poppins. But yes, hypocritical to say the least. And much ado about nothing. (Although I guess if it is work related, things get complicated).
Very cool!
